| Background - | For her entire legal career, Alison has practiced exclusively in the area of labour and employment law for both employers and employees and is experienced in mediation and investigation services. Currently, an extensive part of her practice is conducting workplace investigations for provincially and federally regulated public and private sector employers and unions as well as offering mediation and restoration services. Prior to joining Bernardi Human Resource Law LLP in 2017, she was a full time Vice-chair with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and prior to that, was in-house counsel for a large, unionized provincial retailer as well as labour and employment law boutiques. Alison has successfully resolved complex and challenging matters for public and private sector employers and unions, in a fair and creative manner. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Association of Workplace Investigators. |
