| Background - | A Human Resources Professional with over 20 years experience representing the interest of both the employer and employees. Bernie has been in private practices as a mediator for several years. He is a "Roster Mediator" as part of the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program. Received mediation training at York University, Osgoode Hall Law School, trained at Harvard University in advanced negotiation skills and a graduate of the Rotman School Of Management, University of Toronto. Bernie has extensive negotiating and mediating experience. He had direct responsibility for all aspects of labour/employee relations as Director of Labour/Employee Relations for Toronto Hydro Corporation. He currently volunteers as a coach in the Industrial Relations Certificate program at Queens University. Memberships - HRPAO, ADR Institute of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association ADR and Labour Relations sections. Availability - Bernie is available most weekdays and will assist parties on selected evenings and weekends. |
