Practice Description - I am a partner at Goldblatt Partners LLP, based in Toronto. I am a mediator and civil litigator specializing in all nature of civil disputes, including business/commercial (incl. family-run businesses); partnership disputes; contracts; employment; human rights; nuisance; aboriginal law. I have a unique ability to address and resolve disputes involving ongoing relationships between parties, including closely-held companies, families and neighbours.

I am comfortable mediating in-person or virtually.
Background - I am a bilingual mediator and lawyer at Goldblatt Partners LLP. I hold a Qualified Mediator designation from the ADR Institute of Canada, and have certificates in Mediating Disputes from Harvard Law's Program on Negotiation and a Certificate in Transformative Mediation from the University of Waterloo. I have joint law degrees in common law and civil law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law and am licensed to practice law in Ontario and Quebec.

I am a creative problem-solver who is tireless in my pursuit of a mutually-beneficial resolution. I couple an analytical legal mind with a practical approach to dispute resolution, helping parties achieve solutions that are designed to meet their underlying interests while recognizing personal and business realities. I have a unique ability to make parties feel comfortable and respected and to generate meaningful discussion in order to guide them towards enduring resolutions.

I use a combination of caucuses and joint sessions, designing mediation processes that are tailored to the case at hand and the parties’ needs. Where parties have an ongoing relationship, I prefer joint sessions where possible to help re-establish trust and create a foundation for a productive ongoing relationship.

I am a former member of the Board of Directors for the ADR Institute of Ontario. I ama member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJEFO – the French-speaking lawyers’ association of Ontario).
